So, I couldn’t log in here the other day and I have a new class (Psych Human Sexuality w/ Colt Meier ^^) that impedes me from going to Monday night meetings and thus from telling you all in person.
I came out to my dad this week!!! He told my uncle looking for solace (the worst of my fears) who told my ENTIRE family.
Oh noes!!!
Kidding… (about oh noes, nothing else) they all responded pretty well. They seemed worried and concerned, but loving nonetheless!
I’m glad. I’d never think of coming out to my father ohhhh no. I did however come out to my grandma, and she didn’t have any problems with it. I think she kind of expected it, which is good.
Congrats Sohigh. Coming out to parents is one of the biggies!!
LOL, that is about the way I came out to my family … tell just the right person and they do all the hard work for you! It is fantastic that thjey are taking it well and congradulations
BTW, I took Colt Meier’s class the first time he taught it. It was a blast, and knowing Colt I am sure he has refined it even more.

So, I came out to Margaret Day the other day as she is now my neighbor and had caught me dressed, and she was like ”Oh I’m fiiiiiiiine with it. I used to know someone who transitioned and is now an astrologer. She goes by Lilly now.”
Small world. So now, without me prompting mention of you, you’ve been brought up twice in my life by two completely unrelated people that have both been very influential to me. (The other was Yvonne Taylor, if you don’t recall.)

Interesting. What you describe reminds me of the feeling you get from trying to imagine exactly what another person looks or feels like, without them being there.
An analogy that truly gives testament to how much of a “different person” you are before and after something major like transition. -
